Backlit & Printed

Light and Art, Overhead

When a plain white plane isn’t enough: translucent membranes over engineered LED fields, floating halos, and murals printed at photographic resolution.

Backlit Ceilings

A translucent membrane tensioned beneath a matrix of LED modules turns the entire ceiling into one glare-free light source. Dim it warm for evenings, run it cool for work.

  • Even, shadow-free light with no visible fittings
  • Tunable white and RGB scenes via wall panel or app
  • Floating halos, rings and geometric light lines
  • LED layouts engineered to avoid hot-spotting
  • Modules serviceable through the membrane track

Printed Ceiling Murals

Any artwork, photograph or pattern — printed with UV-stable inks directly onto the membrane at up to 5m wide with no seams. Popular choices include dawn skies for bedrooms, canopies of leaves for spas, and brand graphics for retail.

Our studio prepares a to-scale visual of your actual room before anything is printed, so what you approve is exactly what gets tensioned overhead.

Popular Combinations

Star Ceilings

Hundreds of fibre-optic points through a deep matte membrane — a bedtime favourite for kids’ rooms and home theatres.

Halo + Gloss

A backlit ring floating within a high-gloss field: the halo glows while the gloss mirrors it back, doubling the effect.

Print + Edge Light

A printed mural framed by a slim perimeter light line that makes the artwork appear to float off the slab.
